Lured by Lyrid

Were you lured by Lyrid as well and could you also feel the sensuality of the night and its comforting obscurity?

It felt like there was magic floating through the air last night as the cool breeze in Middle Georgia gently kissed the leaves causing them to rustle softly and dance in the night sky. The frogs and crickets sang a beautiful melody as I lay on my roof trying to spot the first shooting stars of Lyrid. Last night was the best possible chance to see meteors shoot across the sky and the clouds were kind enough to clear away for a perfectly unobstructed view of the night sky. As I lay on the roof with my husband I couldn’t help but feel the romance in such a special moment.

The Lyrid Meteor shower occurs annually each April and I was fortunate enough to watch this beautiful event unfold last night. While staring at the sky in anticipation I couldn’t help but be drawn to the sensual dancing of the trees as they swayed in my periphery. Surrounded by the silhouettes of nature I couldn’t help but become a part of it and succumb to its romance. I was lured out by Lyrid last night and it was an unforgettable experience. Were you lured by Lyrid as well and could you also feel the sensuality of the night and its comforting obscurity?
